Getting a jump start on housing for your employee
Housing in the Netherlands is scarce, especially in and around the big cities. And before your employee comes to the Netherlands, a lot of things need to be arranged in order to secure housing. Dutch Expat Solutions therefore inquires well before arrival in the Netherlands about the housing needs of your employee in order to be able to submit a search request to real estate agents. Immediately after arrival in the Netherlands we can start with a tour of at least 6-8 (furnished) apartments/ houses that meet his living requirements.
Support housing, lease and basic services
As soon as the employee indicates which apartment he wants to rent temporarily, Dutch Expat Solutions enters into negotiations with the broker/owner. About the price, but also, for example, to add a washer and/or dryer to the inventory. Our office assists in drawing up the rental contract, organizes the check-in and requests (if necessary) gas, water, light, cable and internet.
Flexible, independent service
Dutch Expat Solutions operates as an independent partner serving both the employee and the company. Viewings are carefully scheduled before or after the immigration appointments. Does your employee want to select housing even before his official arrival in the Netherlands? That is also possible. During these pre-visit visits, we organize houses that match his wishes. This way, he can possibly move into his selected home with his family immediately upon arrival.
Additional services
If there is room within the budget, we are also happy to help your employee with other household matters. These include: looking for a maid, how to offer your garbage, purchase and operation of OV-chipcard, learning to bike or swim, and so on.
