Expertise and collaboration on immigration issues
Dutch Expat Solutions is all about expertise and collaboration. That is why I would like to introduce you to Clementine Baan of IMMIPOINT, with whom I have been working on immigration issues for 20 years. In this blog I share our story and why this collaboration is so valuable.
How it began
About 20 years ago I met Clementine Baan at one of the two-day courses I taught in Scheveningen. Clementine was working at ASM Europe at the time and was about to start for herself in the world of immigration and emigration issues. The course covered all aspects of applying for MVVs, work and residence permits for foreign workers. Her extensive experience in applying for business visas and work permits for personnel to/from foreign countries proved to be a tremendous asset to my company.
Why Clementine?
When companies have questions about business visas and work permits abroad, I refer them directly to Clementine. She has also specialized in work and residence permits for foreign athletes in the Netherlands. Thanks to our years of experience with agencies such as the UWV, IND and municipalities, together we often carry our motto: "If we don't know anymore, who will?"
Our collaboration today
After 20 years, we still work together daily, sparring on immigration issues and discussing new procedures. This collaboration ensures that we are always up to date with the latest developments and can offer our clients the best possible support.
more than just colleagues
Besides colleagues, we are also good friends. We take time together to experience Dutch culture, celebrate Carnival in Oeteldonk, visit Formula 1 in Zandvoort or just plan a week in the sun. This friendship only makes our collaboration stronger.
Why immipoint?
I stick to my principle: "Shoemaker, stick to your last." That's why I work with experts like Clementine, who specialize in specific immigration issues. This allows Dutch Expat Solutions to focus entirely on the immigration and guidance of foreign workers to the Netherlands.
It's almost Carnival again in Oeteldonk, so the clothes are already hanging ready for a few fun days in Den Bosch!
